Welcome to the SCILnet Language Arts Resource Website.

The Southwest Colorado Interactive Learning Network (SCILnet) is a partnership of twelve Southwest Colorado public school districts, thirteen regional public libraries, Pueblo Community College-Cortez Center, and Fort Lewis College, as funded by a grant from the Colorado State Legislature. That $1 million grant has been used to install communications lines and computers to connect partner institutions in the Southwest Colorado Interactive Learning Network. The partnership members have provided nearly $4.6 million in matching funds.

During the 1998-1999 academic year, the focus will be on the goal of providing Internet training to teachers, librarians and community members within the consortium group. This SCILnet module and others like it may be used to earn graduate credit through Adams State College by teachers and librarians in the partnership.

For those outside the SCILnet area, we welcome you to visit and use this site as an Internet resource. Thanks for visiting.
