Changing the Default Home Page in Netscape 3.0X
You can change the home page configuration by doing the following:
- Open the Options Menu and choose General Preferences.

- Select the Appearance tab at the top of the dialog box (see diagram below).
- Locate the Startup section of the dialog box.
- Enter the following URL in the rectangular box: http://www.studyweb.com.
Make sure to enter it exactly.
- Click on the radio button next to Home Page Location.
- Click OK at the bottom of the dialog box.
- For older versions of the browser, you may need to return to the Options Menu and choose Save Options. If the option to Save is not there, the new configuration is automatically saved for you.
You have now reconfigured the home page to which Netscape will default. Therefore, not only will your browser default to this page when you start up, it will also return to this page when you click on the Home button. You can change this configuration at any time by following the above procedure.

Note: You may need to restart the browser in order for this new configuration to take effect. This is NOT the case for all browsers. |
