Creating Mail Folders Folders are storage areas in which you can group and store e-mail messages that are alike in some way. They allow you to access and organize your messages easily. WebMail has created some folders for you. From the Inbox window, click on the down arrow next to the Folder box. You will see a pull-down menu of the existing folders. You do not need to file mail into these folders as WebMail does this automatically.

Filing Mail in Folders To file a message in a folder, use the following procedure:

Viewing the Messages in a Folder To list the messages that are stored in a folder other than your current folder, select a folder from the pull-down list on the status bar of the New Mail Inbox and use the Go! button.

Deleting a Folder
Use the following procedure to delete a mail folder:

| Assignment WebMail 9 - Working with Folders: Once you have completed all 4 assignments for Lesson 9, attend an Open Lab session with your trainer so that he/she can check this assignment. Show your trainer that you can create a folder, file a message in a folder, view the messages in a folder, and delete a folder. |
